What is a foot health practitioner?
A foot health practitioner is a qualified and insured professional who is able to diagnose and treat foot health conditions such as corns, hard skin and fungal infections.
A foot health practitioner is able to advise the patient on how best to maintain foot health such as suitable footwear and padding's.
Foot health practitioners are able to refer a patient to their GP or a chiropodist/podiatrist if needed.
What are your qualifications?
I trained at the college of Foot Health Practitioners in Rowley Regis. This is a podiatry led training course involving theory and practical assessment.
I qualified at level 4 diploma foot health practitioner which means I am qualified to determine what treatment is needed and able to deliver that treatment safely.
I am a member of the Alliance of Private Sector Practitioners which ensures I continue to develop my skills and knowledge.
I am also on the Alliances register which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
Are there any extra costs?
The cost of the appointment covers all medicament's, padding's and dressings used.
Certain conditions will require ongoing application of treatment in between visits, these can be purchased from myself.

How do I pay?
Payment is required at the end of the treatment session.
